Silvair Inc., a company offering innovative solutions for the IoT (Internet of Things) area, is strengthening its team on the US market. In March, the Company has appointed Jim Sekinger as the Sales Executive in the United States.

Jim Sekinger, has more than 25 years of experience in lighting industry roles overseeing innovation, sales, and business development - developing products, markets, and business models for intelligent lighting technology. Jim has led the development and commercialization of several break-through lighting technologies including wireless lighting communications, cloud data architectures, software-centric IoT platform lighting data networks. He spent the last 10 year with Philips Lighting where he rose to GM of its NA lighting controls business. In addition, Jim has held senior management roles with several intelligent lighting technology start-ups, leading them in building new businesses and market opportunities as an entrepreneur. VP Business Development - Adura Technologies - the first VC-backed wireless lighting control company, SVP Sales and Business Development - Redwood Systems - the leader in PoE based building-performance LED lighting control solutions, VP Channel - Enlighted Inc., one of the leading players in the wireless building-performance LED lighting control solutions (acquired by Siemens).
