Silvair’s commissioning platform is ready for launch
Silvair’s commissioning platform, a set of dedicated tools designed for setting up Bluetooth mesh smart lighting networks, is ready to be used in professional applications. Thanks to its prominent performance, the commissioning process both in small-scale locations as well as large commercial spaces is effortless. Additionally, it is time and cost-efficient at every step from the planning stage to the system implementation. Silvair’s lighting control solution gives fast payback (2 to 3 years in a commercial space), energy efficiency and out-of-the-box compliance with energy codes. Besides the web portal, the platform includes a mobile application enabling users to always be in full control of lighting conditions.
Silvair’s commissioning platform
With a new generation of Bluetooth mesh enabled lighting components being introduced at Silvair’s booth no. E80 in hall 9.1 at Light + Building 2018, trade show participants will have the unique opportunity to test our Silvair Platform and see how easy it is to set up an entire Bluetooth mesh network intended for lighting applications and IoT services.
A proper design of the commissioning process is crucial for the future of wireless control systems. Bluetooth is the only technology that allows forming the network without having specialized IT knowledge. The design follows the ICN (Information-Centric Networking) concept which aims to improve scalability, security, and reliability of wireless communication. This innovative solution does not require any gateways and because it provides an RSSI based proximity sensing feature instead, it allows you to quickly detect and commission a device via a smartphone app (see the illustration below).
To learn more about our Silvair Commissioning tools, visit the Light+Building 2018 trade fair on March 18-23, 2018 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Silvair will be presenting its system functionalities as well as the interoperability of the new generation of lighting components. You will find us at booth no. E80 in hall 9.1.
